Rockport/Fulton

Every time we go down to Rockport I end up wondering why we call it Rockport. All of the good hotels are in Fulton. The Lighthouse in Fulton is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. This time it was The Inn at Fulton Harbor. These hotels are great because almost everything is within walking distance and they are right on the Fulton Beach Road. In the past it has been the Hampton Inn up on 35 which is quite nice as well but not nearly as convenient. Rockport has the arts district, the art museum, the aquarium and one great restaurant, Latitude 28. But everything else is in Fulton. So why does everyone call it Rockport or at least Rockport/Fulton. It's a great mystery.
In this batch of photos I have included several images of Roseate Spoonbills. I normally don't choose multiple images of the same subjects for these posts but I just couldn't help myself. They are just too beautiful.
Check here for a few images from Fulton/Rockport.
